Adidas Toyota Sports Center | 2018

ASK: Design and build a 40 x 24 x 12 ft interactive and architecturally sound box as a walk through immersive experience as if it had crashed from space for a high traffic event at the Toyota Center.

CHALLENGE: Extremely tight timeline with 1 week for fabrication and design, interactive electronics, travel and transport to TX from Los Angeles.

SOLUTIONS: Minimize construction using existing stock walls, choosing materials available in stock, re-using electronics and programming created for past projects. This project involved extensive resource planning from LED lights and programming, to custom built acrylic boxes, vinyl decals, metal laminates, CNC plexiglass, mold making (footsteps along the path), foam carving and neon lights.
