Project Summary

At the American Horror Story exhibit at D23, we fused cutting-edge technology with traditional craftsmanship to bring the chilling world of the show to life for NVE Experience Agency. The centerpiece was a towering 6'2" horned figure, standing proudly atop a waxy volcano platform, with every eerie detail coated in a thick black gloss for that extra sexy finish (you’re welcome, Kim). Meanwhile, a larger-than-life black widow spider dangled ominously above a molten lava floor, giving guests a spine-tingling thrill. We used custom 3D printing alongside traditional sculpting to create the show's most iconic elements, from the rotating spectacle of the Rubber Man and Woman to the dramatic wax drip walls, all designed by some of the most talented 3D modelers in the industry. The custom 3D-printed LED signage added an extra layer of haunting glow, perfectly capturing American Horror Story’s signature aesthetic.
